# Release notes

What changed in PageCycle and PageCheck, in plain language: new releases, improvements and fixes, newest first.

## Space access follows Confluence roles

PageCycle · Fix · October 23, 2026

People with access through Confluence roles can open PageCycle in their spaces. Space admins can open PageCycle settings without a separate user or group grant.

## PageCycle in Rovo and your AI tools

PageCycle · Feature · v1.1.0 · October 23, 2026

24 tools for PageCycle's page, board and settings screens, each with exactly its user's permissions.

- **Ask and move from anywhere.** Check a page, move it, set its next review, find what's overdue or stuck, and summarize a space, from Rovo or from Claude, Codex and Cursor over MCP.
- **A REST API for your own scripts.** Every tool is also an HTTPS route. A script signs in as a person with an OAuth 2.0 app you create in the Atlassian developer console, and acts with exactly that person's Confluence permissions. Your site or org admin turns it on for PageCycle in Connected apps, and approves this version once, because it adds the API.
- **Workflow changes, previewed.** Space admins can change statuses, moves and automations and turn PageCycle on. Each change shows a preview first.
- **Recorded, and switched on by your admin.** Every move an agent makes is in the page's History. Using AI tools outside Atlassian needs your site or org admin to switch it on.
- **Your name in page history.** A status you set on the page, the board, in Rovo, or from Claude, Codex and Cursor over MCP now shows under your name in Confluence's page history, and Confluence checks your own permissions. When a space admin renames a status or moves pages out of one, those status changes show under the admin's name too. Pages the admin can't edit keep their Confluence status, and PageCycle names them. Automations still show as PageCycle.
- **Re-approve after an edit.** In the default workflow, an approver can Re-approve a page that was edited after approval, with a comment. Spaces turned on before 1.1.0 can add the move in PageCycle settings.
- **Health shows only your space.** The Health tab in PageCycle's space settings, and PageCycle in Rovo, list and count only the problems with your own space's pages and automations, never another space's.
- **One move tool.** The move action is now the movePagecyclePage tool, which takes the new status as "to". Rovo Studio agents built on 1.0.0 need it added again.

## PageCheck now runs entirely inside Atlassian.

PageCheck · Feature · v1.0.0 · Coming soon

Page text never leaves Atlassian and the app calls no outside service. Results are AI-written, Mixed or Human, under the title of every page in the spaces you choose.

- **Its own model, inside Atlassian.** PageCheck checks each page with its own model, inside the app on Atlassian's platform. Page text stays in your site, and the app calls no outside service.
- **AI-written, Mixed or Human.** In the spaces you choose, a label under each page's title says how the page was written. A Mixed page says how much was written by AI, for example "32% of this page was written by AI."
- **The passages behind the label.** Click the label for the authorship view: the page's passages under its own headings, with All, AI-written and Human-written tabs.
- **Automatic or on request.** With automatic checks on, an edit is checked when it's published and a new page when someone first opens it; with them off, when a reader clicks Check AI.
- **Only new text is checked.** An edit that doesn't change the text reuses the earlier result; failed checks and short pages do not count against your monthly AI checks.
- **AI checks that grow with your team.** Monthly AI checks grow with the number of people using your spaces, and admins see what is left for the month.
- **One settings page.** Admins choose spaces and automatic checks in one settings page, and see the month's use.
- **Who asked for each check.** PageCheck records which person asked for each check, by Atlassian account id, and reports it to Atlassian's personal data reporting API every week. When an account closes, its id is removed. Every result checks the reader's view permission.

## PageCycle 1.0.0 is on the Atlassian Marketplace

PageCycle · Feature · v1.0.0 · October 1, 2026

PageCycle's first Marketplace release adds a simple workflow for Confluence pages, with review dates, automations, a board and a full history. It runs on Atlassian, so no data leaves your site.

- **Workflows per space.** Statuses, allowed moves, group rules and required comments, with a live diagram of the workflow.
- **Move to, under the page title.** Each page shows its status under the title, next to the author. Move to lists only the moves you may make, with the full History beside it.
- **Status menu changes checked.** Changes made from Confluence's status menu that the workflow doesn't allow are recorded and put back, or kept with a flag on the page if the space chose Flag.
- **Works alongside Confluence approvals.** A page whose status was removed gets a flag, never the status back, and automations skip it, so PageCycle never overwrites a status removed to start an approval.
- **Automations.** Re-review after an approved page is edited, review dates that remind the owner, labels and comments.
- **Board.** Per space and across spaces: a diagram with counts, stuck pages, history filters and CSV, and only for pages you can view.
- **Rovo agent.** The PageCycle agent moves pages as you, with the same rules as Move to.
- **A status for every page.** A status label under every page's title, and a default status for new pages.
- **Health and retention.** A Health tab for space admins, and history kept for 30 days to 3 years, as each space chooses.
- **Runs on Atlassian.** PageCycle runs entirely on Atlassian's platform: no data leaves your site.
