Rovo and MCP

Built for humans and agents

Everything people do in PageCheck, an agent can do too: read how a page was written, see the passages behind it, check a new version, or turn PageCheck on for a space. In Rovo, or from Claude, Codex and Cursor over MCP, with exactly its user's permissions and the same monthly AI checks.

How AI checks work

PageCheck reads the published version and runs the AI check without leaving Atlassian. Then the page is labeled AI, Human or Mixed.

WhenA version is published

An edit is checked when it's published, and a new page when someone first opens it. Drafts are never checked.

→
WhatPageCheck reads the page contents

Paragraphs, lists, tables and panels, at least 50 words. Code, macros, images and embeds are left out; headings label the passages.

→
WhereThe page shows the AI check label

AI, Human or Mixed, with the passages behind it. AI-assisted passages count as AI-written.

What the label says

The label sits under the page title, next to the author, where every reader already looks. Its colors are the authorship view's: purple for AI-written, green for human-written. There are no warning colors, because PageCheck takes no position on AI use.

Your spaces, your AI checks

Confluence admins choose the spaces PageCheck runs in and see the month's AI checks: words checked, the month's total and when it resets. The month's AI checks grow with every active user. An unchanged edit, a failed check or a short page uses nothing, and active users are counted without keeping a list of who they are.

Questions admins ask

What do readers see?

A label under the page title: AI, Human or Mixed. One click opens the passages behind it, under the page's own headings.

Who chooses where it runs?

Confluence admins pick the spaces, and nothing is checked anywhere else. Every result respects the reader's view permission.

When are pages checked?

With automatic checks on, every published edit is checked, so labels stay current without anyone asking. With them off, readers check a page with one click. An unchanged edit reuses the earlier result.

Is our text used to train AI models?

No. PageCheck runs on Atlassian, so page text never leaves your site and nothing is trained on it.

How should teams use the results?

As a guide for readers and page owners. The passage view shows what reads as AI-written, so people can judge a page for themselves. PageCheck informs and takes no position on AI use.
